Sorry to alarm you, but if the anti-gun media and politicians get their way, we could all receive a notice like this in the near future.
Want some evidence? Look at the D.C. snipers. It took America's "Sweetheart" Katie Couric about 3 seconds to turn into a gun expert and start demonizing all gun owners. ABC News, CNN, National print media---all jumped on our back. It was as much our fault as the snipers. That's B.S.!
More proof. After years of trying to legislate a hunting ban in Maryland, they finally found an excuse---the snipers. Hunting was banned in Maryland during the tragedy. Maryland should have been trying to get more law-abiding gun owners on the street, not less. And now, Maryland is using the tips it received during the shooting spree to "investigate" thousands of honest gun owners. Maryland's hunters and sportsmen can now look forward to the "knock on the door".
If you're sick of the media calling all gun owners hillbilly, idiot gun nuts
. . if higher taxes on ammo and license fees are driving you away from shooting
. . .your hunting lands are shut down. . .and you're being targeted as a second class citizen, you need to join thousand of fellow gun owners in signing our petition to President Bush, every member of Congress and the heads of the major networks that says, in no uncertain terms, we're gun owners, we're angry and if you want our guns you can have them. . .barrel first!
