The Junto Society - The Goal?

By now, you are probably asking yourself "What are these people trying to do?" Now that is a very good question and it deserves an answer. You can read about us in the about pages, http://www.juntosociety.com/about.html , but what do we really want to accomplish?

The answer is simple. We want to challenge the average person in the United States to take a short amount of their time to discover the truth about the past and possible future of our great country. We hope to entice you to take just a little time from your busy schedule to learn more about the real history of this beautiful country you call home. We hope to bring you joy and we hope to make you mad. Not at us, but about what is happening to the Constitution, the Bill of Rights and to the principles that made this country great.

We hope to reach out to the real, hard working, family loving salt of the earth American who does not take the time to vote in every election. We hope to encourage you to discover just how very important that you, one person can be in determining the future of this country. We hope to encourage you, whether you live in a mobile home or a mansion on the hill, to exercise your rights as a citizen and take this country back.

We are hoping that you will help us, with your voice and with your votes to restore the value of the preamble to the Declaration of Independence that stated: "We hold these Truths to be self-evident, that all Men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness..."

We also hope to restore the values of our Founding Fathers who gave us a nation which was based upon the concept: "A government of the People, For the People and By the People!" This concept has slowly become extinct. YOU ARE THE PEOPLE! You may flip hamburgers for a living or drive a delivery truck. You may be a bank teller or a cashier at the supermarket. You may be the mayor of a city or the person who sweeps the mayors floor. The fact remains that YOU ARE THE PEOPLE!

The majority of Americans take little time to study the issues, pro or con and if they even bother to vote, they more often as not vote party lines with little awareness as to the true goals of the people they choose. Most people just don't bother to vote at all and for the sake of our great land, this must change.

We have no desire to tell you who to vote for or how to vote. We do, however hope to get you to think in a different, more honest way. To learn, and maybe teach us, through the joining of American minds to discover the truth. And in so doing, together we can change America!

It matters not if you are rich or poor. It matters not if you have one skin color or another. It matters not if you are young or old. It matters not if you are of one political party or another. It matters not if you or male or female. I matters not if you are young or old.

It does matter that you are an American! As an American, you are supposed to be the voice in control of America - not the other way around! We may not always agree, but we can talk! If you love America and if you love freedom and you believe in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, as written, then you will be at home with the Junto Society.

So please join us, write for us, be an active part of shaping the destiny of America! We are coming and we want you!
