City Commissioner

by Monty Rainey, Junto Society

The City Commissioner works in a similar capacity as a City Council member. The City Commission performs such duties as passing the City's fiscal budget, setting the millage rate, and approving the ordinances and resolutions. Commissioners are held accountable by the electorate for their actions and typically may not delegate their power to any other City board or committee.
