It’s my right

Over the past many months we have heard those that speak out against the war insist that we view their actions as both their right and their patriotism at work. Demanding, they ask us to question neither. Truthfully, one must recognize that it is indeed their right to speak out, and their right to claim patriotism.
As they partake in various activities, why would one not see them as patriotic? As they walk in step with communist organizers, would that not be the American way? Their destruction to American citizen’s property, redirecting police’s energy, as well as time and the depleting of American worker’s hard earned tax monies, certainly should not point to unpatriotic activities. In addition, why would anyone consider Democrat legislators visiting foreign land that speak out against America’s policies and administration be viewed as anything other than patriotic? Most certainly one must view the protestors, Hollywood! Elite and left-leaning media’s ability to promote unsubstantiated propaganda all a part of their patriotic rights. And we must not forget those that have ability to turn ones back to the American flag. This action can only be seen as patriotism at its best
It cannot be understated how fortunate for the “anti-war bunch” that America has had courageous soldiers throughout our countries’ history willing to sacrifice life and limb for their rights. However, in acknowledging the anti-war protestor’s rights one must state that many perceive their cries of patriotism as a façade, behind which they hide, while they try to undermine the very country that gives them freedom.
It may indeed be their right to protest, as our soldiers are in harm’s way. It may indeed be considered patriotic in certain circles. But in reality is it right?
