Weapons of Destruction

During the past few weeks Americans have felt the ever-increasing cloud of heaviness cover the nation. With each pessimistic, anti-war and anti-American word spoken by protestors, Democrat partisans and Hollywood elite, the sky darkened. What relief to see a clearing, as our leader addressed our nation.
Viewers heard, not a showman, nor follower, nor poll-driven politician, but a steady principled, compassionate American. His words covering a range of issues directed at both domestic and abroad.
As he addressed the giving of tax relief to every individual who pays income taxes; how telling it is to the national audience as Democrats sat on their hands reserving applause. Would someone ask about the 92 million citizens that would receive relief under his plan? They can’t all be the rich, can they?
From health care to environment, his words of determination spoke for positive improvement. True, Democrats will not appreciate his direction, unless it is theirs, but truth, if less shrilled partisan rhetoric, less focused on the 2004 election, more willing to bend much progress could be made.
American safety was the focus, noting sincere resolve to disarm Saddam. His statement pointed at Iraqis spoke volumes; their leader as their true enemy is evil incarnate. Noting that it is Saddam’s war to wage, it is he who remains in material breach, and it is he who could prevent disaster.
Confused at Democrat stance; they feel a necessity to garner permission from Germany and France in order to decide if Saddam should be disarmed. Would one not prefer to follow a leader who feels America’s purpose is more than following a process, but purposed to end threats to our world, knowing America’s course does not depend on decisions of others? His words, “Whatever action is required, whatever action necessary, I will defend the freedom and security of the American people,” brought comfort not insecurity, knowing he will consult, but leadership is what we shall see, not desiring for others to clean up the mess.
Praising the honorable that fights for our protection, seeking peace and defending it. If war is forced on us, we will fight the good the fight. And with confidence we know that we will succeed.
With his faith projected, a trusted, respectable leader, a genuine man he calls American people to take on the demands before us. He reminds us, “Americans are a free people, who know that freedom is the right of every person and the future of every nation. The liberty we prize is not America’s gift to the world; it is God’s gift to humanity.” With thankfulness and pride my leader spoke and rays beamed though.
