Religion used liberally

If truth be told, one’s religion or religious word is of little use to many, unless it is from a liberal perspective or spoken by a liberal. Take for instance, the religious view on war from former President Carter, how easily accepted it is as he proclaims his Christianity as partial reason for his stance. In addition, liberal, left religious folk ask without public scrutiny what Jesus would drive, in hopes of promoting their world vision. The Pope’s abortion view is not important, but as he speaks with the liberal left on war, his word is gospel. One must also recognize how easily liberal, Democrat Representative Moran’s words against the Jewish community have been dismissed, unlike a conservative counterpart. &nb! sp; And without question or consequence Hollywood elite use God’s name in vain to their advantage; portraying the religious as something to distain. Finally, we must not forget Jesse Jackson’s rants from the pulpit promoting his left leaning political religion. No legal, non-profit status ramifications for him, as would be for a conservative preacher.
Now to strengthen my argument, think on how easily President Bush is examined when asked by reporters to consider how his faith is measured when making a decision to press for Saddam’s disarmament. Are we not aware of those speaking for us in the media that question how this president dare speak of his faith in public? Is not the Pledge of Allegiance now under attack because the word God is pronounced? Are we not told God used in vain is acceptable, but it reverence not acceptable? And finally, if one is thought to be of faith from a conservative perspective, such as US Circuit judicial nominee Miguel Estrada, discrimination is the only way to deal with such an oddity.
What it comes down to then, this thing called faith, to be able to speak of conviction, use it for debate, or find it necessary, you must have in your possession left leaning credentials; otherwise it is of no value.
