Any US citizen with a modicum of awareness has long known that our colleges and universities have been taken over by anti-God, anti-America, Socialist professors. These hate-mongers have poisoned the minds of our greatest national treasures, our young people, for decades. They hide behind tenure while they lie and make outrageous, inflammatory statements, secure in the knowledge that they will continue to receive taxpayer dollars while they attack our religion and our nation. 

These treacherous people have been brainwashing our children for a generation. But tenured Professor Ward Churchill of the University of Colorado makes the worst of them look like amateurs. In an essay published the day after 9-11, he praised the terrorists who killed 3,000 people and called the victims Nazis and “legitimate military targets.”

Before we get into his sins against America, some background on this traitor is in order. To start with, one of the most important requirements for a professor is academic honesty. Churchill has been proven to be a liar and a poseur many times. I will cite just two of his worst transgressions.

For years Churchill has falsely claimed he is an American Indian. He has used that lie to weasel himself into a position as the Department Head of the University of Colorado’s Department of Ethnic Studies. His supposed Indian ancestry has also helped him get published. Apparently, the academic community finds exotic pedigrees to be important qualifications for publication. Churchill discovered that being an ordinary white guy wasn’t good enough, so he reinvented himself as an Indian and started wearing his hair long.

He ingratiated himself with a little-known offshoot of the Cherokee tribe, which required members to prove that they were one quarter Indian (see LINKS below). Churchill could only make claim to being one sixteenth Indian, and thus did not qualify. So he told tribal leaders that he could help the poor tribe by using his position and writings to promote them. 

The Keetoowah tribe gave him an “Associate” (honorary) membership because, according to the chief at that time, they thought he would bring their problems to people who could help. Tribal leaders state that as soon as he got his Associate Member card, he ignored the tribe and started to use his bogus American Indian status to promote himself.

To get publicity and sell books, he began to make up outrageous claims. The worst was his fabrication about the US Government distributing blankets infected with smallpox in 1837. Churchill claimed that 125,000 American Indians died because of this supposed genocide. He cited his source as Russell Thornton, an anthropology professor at UCLA specializing in American Indian studies.

Churchill wrote, "The blankets had been gathered from a military infirmary in St. Louis, where troops infected with the disease were quarantined. Although the medical practice of the day required the precise opposite procedure, Army doctors ordered the Mandans to disperse once they exhibited signs of the infection. The result was a pandemic among the Plains Indian nations which claimed at least 125,000 lives."

The only problem is that Thornton never said the things Churchill claims he said. 

In fact Thornton (a REAL American Indian, thinks Churchill should be fired for academic fraud (see LINKS below). "I think people can make mistakes in quotations occasionally, but to blatantly misrepresent someone else's work is totally inappropriate.” 

Thornton said there may have been cases in which blankets were used to try to infect Indians, but not in this instance. He also said the number of Indians who died in this instance was between 20,000 and 30,000, and that they were infected by passengers from a steamboat that docked near the Indians.

"If Churchill has sources that say otherwise, I'd like to see them. But right now I'm his source for this, and it's wrong." He went on to say that Churchill had invented the story. 
"From my perspective, it's academic fraud and it's a firing offense. This is a fraud sustained over several essays."

If his lies and academic fraud were not enough reason for taxpayers to stop subsidizing this subversive, his treasonous statements are. They have resulted in calls for his dismissal from the Governor and several US legislators from Colorado, as well as members of his own University’s Board of Regents.

What did Ward Churchill says to arouse the ire of so many leaders? You can read the entire essay by clicking the LINK below. Here are just a few of his comments, which are terrifying when you consider that this disgusting person is pouring this swill into the minds of young people every day.

"As to those in the World Trade Center...true enough, they were civilians of a sort. But innocent?” I’d like to see him say that face to face with the families of the innocent people who died that tragic day. I have a feeling he would be lucky to depart from such a meeting with only bruises and a bloody nose.

"Bush, at least in symbolic terms, is the world's leading terrorist…He's the head of a rogue state by definition." Surprised? I’ll bet you didn’t know that your President was the world’s leading terrorist, or that this land we love is a “rogue state.” This is the kind of self-hate that Churchill preaches every day to our young people. By the way, the website on which his essay is posted (see LINK below) has a poster with the President’s face and the words “International Terrorist.”

He claims that the US itself is responsible for the Attacks on America: “Scoundrel-in-Chief, George Junior, lacking even the sense to be careful what he wished for, has teamed up with a gaggle of fundamentalist Christian clerics like Billy Graham to proclaim a ‘New Crusade’ called ‘Infinite Justice’ aimed at ‘ridding the world of evil.’" Now Billy Graham is responsible for 9-11! Apparently Professor Churchill is too ignorant to know that Rev. Graham has been ill of late, and has not been able to participate in war-mongering.

He calls for killing what he calls “America’s abundant supply of war criminals,” including “Henry Kissinger…Madeline Albright, Colin Powell, Bill Clinton and George the Elder.” Well, at least he included one real war criminal in his list.

Regarding the cowards who murdered thousands on 9-11, Churchill has this to say: “They did not, for starters, ‘initiate’ a war with the US, much less commit ‘the first acts of war of the new millennium.’” No, according to this eminent professor, “A good case could be made that the war in which they were combatants has been waged more-or-less continuously by the ‘Christian West’…against the ‘Islamic East’ since the time of the First Crusade.” Wow, thanks for clearing that up, Ward. It was really the CHRISTIANS who were responsible for the Attacks on America.

He then goes on to praise the terrorists for their patience. “That they waited so long to do so is, notwithstanding the 1993 action at the WTC, more than anything a testament to their patience and restraint.” This guy is a raving lunatic – and he (along with thousands like him) is teaching your children.

Said Churchill, “The men who flew the missions against the WTC and Pentagon were not ‘cowards.’” He then goes on to say that that distinction belongs to our own US service men and women! I would love to see him make that speech on a US Marine Corps base. 

Finally, throughout his hate-filled essay, Churchill refers to the Islamic extremists who attacked us as “combatants” and the “combat team.” What kind of monster refers to insane mass murderers as a “combat team”? The kind of monster who teachers (brainwashes) your children every day.

What can be done? This man who hates God, hates Christians, hates America and hates our military is protected by tenure. As long as he lives, he will be allowed to teach the young people of the University of Colorado that everything you taught them is lies, and that his lies are truth. Here’s a solution: Don’t send your kids there.

The only problem with that is that Ward Churchills are everywhere. They may not be as charismatic as he, and they may be more subtle in their approach, but they are in almost every college and university in the country.

They undermine our values. They seduce impressionable young women. They promote Socialism and Communism on our campuses. And all of their activities are paid for by you, through taxes and through tuition.

The only solution is to abolish tenure. This ridiculous practice of allowing professors to be virtually untouchable after they have taught for a certain number of years must end. Professors must be answerable for their actions like the rest of society. Only then will our campuses cease to be breeding grounds for anarchy and perversion, and return tot heir original purpose: Teaching our young people in a truthful and moral fashion.
