Baby Doe's Voice Heard Around The World
June

As I said last week, Baby Doe's short life on earth may be gone, but the voice of Baby Doe is being heard around the world. Last Friday, scores of people called Liberty Counsel to inquire about the status of Baby Doe. When informed Baby Doe was aborted, many cried. Some of you are parents or grandparents. Some want to become parents. The thought that Baby Doe was needlessly killed, was, and is, hard to bear. However, Baby Doe's voice has not been silenced. The media coverage outside the United States has included Canada and Europe. Combined with the Laci and Connor Peterson murders along with the Orlando guardianship case, these stories of real lives are causing many to re-evaluate abortion. Even Newsweek and MSNBC have released stories this week on the unborn child. See http://www.msnbc.com/news/920645.asp#BODY. Note the story about Samuel Armas, now 3 ½ years old, who became famous by the widely distributed photographs of his tiny hand grasping the finger of the doctor who performed surgery while he was still in the womb at 21 weeks gestation. COURT UPHOLDS GEORGIA TEN COMMANDMENTS SEAL
The federal Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit which governs the southeastern states has upheld the seal of Richmond County, Georgia, which contains a depiction of the Ten Commandments. The decision unanimously rejected the ACLU's arguments. The seal contains a sword along with the Ten Commandments. The seal is affixed by the clerk to legal documents.
