Get
over It

Am I
the only one that’s about sick of the race card being played by
the Jesse Jackasses of the world? I thought when this whole Trent
Lott remark made in tribute to the 100th birthday to Sen. Strom
Thurmond was made, it would just blow over, considering it was
nothing more than that, a tribute and show of respect for the
former Democrat. But oh no, because Lott is a Republican and soon
to take over as Senate Majority Leader for the ousted Tommy
Daschle, the race baiters are livid.
I ask you Mr. Jackson, where was your outrage less that 2 years
ago when the Democratic Sen. Robert Byrd dropped the N-bomb on a
national news show? Why were you not calling for his resignation
like you are calling for the resignation of Senator Lott? I’ll
tell you why, sir, because it is you and your followers who are
the true racists. And you, Rev. Jackass are a racist of the worst
kind. You are the kind of hypocritical poultry feces who will hide
behind the very things you condemn.
Then you’ve got Al Bore acting all indignant about it. The same
Al Bore who made disparaging remarks about downs syndrome victims.
The same Al Bore who’s former black house keeper told of being
made to wait in the car in the hot Tennessee sun while the Bore
family attended church.
Trent Lott was paying respect to a centurion and the race baiters
jumped right square in the middle of it. Keep it up, folks.
Apparently you learned absolutely nothing on November 5th. You
failed to learn that the majority of American voters are sick and
tired of your political chicanery and that most voters are
intelligent enough to see right through the petty games you play.
The games which perpetuate the very brand of racial division you
self righteously claim to abhor.
I’m no big fan of Trent Lott. I believe he allowed Tommy Daschle
to get away with far too much when he stole control of the Senate.
I further lost confidence in Lott when he cowed down to this
current lambasting and pseudo ridicule over his show of respect
for Strom Thurmond. He said it, he should be man enough to stick
to it and to hell with the Jesse Jackasses, Al Bore’s and all
the other race card thumpers.
This is a perfect example of the old "boy that cried
wolf" scenario. This kind of grandstanding is why, when real
racism occurs, a lot of people pay it no mind at all. The people
(voters) are sick of these games. People just want to send you a
message that it is time to get over it!
